No More Martyrs is a mental health awareness campaign that seeks to build a community of support for Black women. In partnership with from the City of Birmingham and the Office of Mayor William Bell, it is our extreme pleasure to host the 2017 Minority Mental Health Awareness Summit in recognition of Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. This event is scheduled for July 13, 2017.

No More Martyrs is excited to offer Mental Health First Aid training.
Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing and mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.

No More Martyrs has held free informational webinars on topics related to race, gender and mental health. National and international participants shared their appreciation for the opportunity to speak to both licensed professionals and other women sharing their own experiences living with mental health concerns. In an effort to continue growing this community of support, more free informational webinars will be held in 2017 as well as the launch of a new No More Martyrs blog.
